Nope, it's not really the official site for the White House, and the current administration wants to make sure that you know that. So much so that John Wooden, the site's publisher, once received a letter from David Addington, a counsel to Vice President Cheney, "requesting" him to remove pictures and a "fictitious biography" of Mrs. Cheney from his site. All we can say is that if you like good political satire, you've got to check this URL out. We can't help but wonder what approach the site will take in 2009 when we finally get our regime change. Remember, regime change starts at home. Anyway, we give this Five out of Five Stars!

This blog site's subtitle is "The D.C. Gossip," and it's all that and more. It's cool, it's funny, and it's worth looking at every other day or so. This site is updated all the time, and they find the most unusual stuff to tempt us with. For example, how about a 1988 video clip of a very young Ron Paul in the audience of The Morton Downey, Jr. show (remember him)? We give it Five out of Five Stars.

You might think that from this site's name that it had something to do with the latest blockbuster from Hollywierd, or that it at least covered Sundance. You would be wrong. The "film" here are media clips that prove a point or two. Try it, youll like it. We give it Four out of Five Stars.

This opinion, and very professional, blog site is published by Arianna Huffington. Since it began publishing several years back, it's become "the" spot for leftists and New Agers alike (heck, Deepak Chopra writes here). The site stays as up-to-date on breaking news stories as heavy hitters like The Washington Post and the NY Times - and even scoops them on important angles. Even Neocoms who hate the site would have to give it Five out of Five Stars!

Remember when you were a kid, when you repeated one of the half-truths you heard at the schoolyard at the breakfast table you mother would demand, "Who told you that?" As we look over the stories on this site, that's exactly what we wanted to know. Still, the site is really interesting and plays right into our conspiracy fears, so we figure we'll go back. We give it Three out of Five Stars - but that's only because we're not sure we believe it. If we did, we'd give it five stars.

If you're looking for a site that's all about opinion - this is it. This progressive leaning site is nothing but opinion - and they have millions of them. And they insist on putting every single one on the front page. While that may not be entirely true, it certainly seems that way, and thats the problem with this site. There are so many articles thrown onto the front page that the visitor can't help but be overwhelmed. We suspect that if the publishers of this site paid some attention to site layout, this might be a good site. We also suspect that isn't about to happen. We give it Two out of Five Stars.

For those of you left-brainers who like to stay on the cutting edge of alternative science and culture, this site is for you! The thing we like the most is that most of the articles here are written in a style so that even poets like us can understand them. This site bills itself as “The Heathen’s Guide to Spirituality.” As you might imagine, the tone is somewhat irreverent throughout, but a whole lot of fun! An eclectic mixture of humor and news, we find that we don’t always agree with their viewpoint – and we suspect that’s part of the point. Besides, any site that contains a column called Trailer Park Astrology gets a B+ in our class.
