TAWN Annual Fall Festival and Pagan Pride Day - Tucson, AZ

The Tucson Area Wiccan-Pagan Network (TAWN) is proud to announce the continuation of its partnership with the Pagan Pride Project, founders of the Pagan Pride Day movement. Therefore, when TAWN hosts the 21st annual Fall Festival for the second straight year the event will also be Southern Arizona's Pagan Pride Day!

TIMED EVENTS:
• 10:00 – Veils of Mystery belly dancers
• 11:00 – Children’s Ritual hosted by SSG
• 12:00 – TAWN Annual Meeting
• 6:00 – SSG hosts the (adult) Mabon ritual
ALL-DAY EVENTS:
• Bard Lugh (his pavilion will be near the TAWN Booth – “Bard Central”)
• Dragon’s Quest -for the children
• Psychic Faire – $20 for a 15 minute Reading
WORKSHOPS:

The cards of the tarot can be used for self development as well as fortune telling. Come learn and experience how to let tarot's symbols guide your spiritual journey.

Bring your drum. Learn how drums can be used in ritual, drum history, and a special drum blessing at the end of the class.

A brief history/perspective of the Tohono O'odham in the Tucson area. I will present a brief overview of their history, how they lived in the desert, covering what the local mountains and landmarks are called in Tohono O'odham, a review of their dry farming techniques, food prep, then how they are currently doing, tribal political structure for their 9 districts, followed by how we as Pagans can learn from First Nation Peoples in living in harmony with our local environments.

R & R Barbecue, who was with us last year and whose food was loved by almost everybody, will be back again.

• Event T-Shirts
T-Shirts will be on sale at the TAWN Booth. Patricia “Faerie Moon” Moore has contributed the artwork, of Mommy Dragon with her Baby Dragon using the theme "Coming of Age" because this year is TAWN's 21st birthday

• Raffle/Auction-
As in past years there will be a Silent Auction running all day. And raffle tickets for sale at the TAWN Booth.

Event TIME Details: Starts at 9 a.m. Ending with the Mabon Ritual star

Directions: From I10 take 22nd Street exit east past Country Club. Reid Park starts there. Use any of the parking lots in Reid Park and walk east to Ramadas 5 & 6 and the Soccer Field off Randolph way in front of the Reid Park Zoo.
