As the 5th anniversary of the start of the current war in Iraq nears, Texans for Peace say "no more to war." Texans for Peace has kicked off a month of peace and antiwar activities throughout the state including marches, vigils, protests, sermons and films.

A group of cyclists are riding from Phoenix to the Grand Canyon and back. The 450-mile ride and 20 mile hike will take 8 days, from March 24th - 31st. The event is intended to raise awareness and money to fight against human trafficking, or modern day slavery. Organizers spent 2007 traveling around the world working in over a dozen impoverished countries. They saw global issues firsthand. Upon returning to the U.S., they were compelled to help those in need.

Beginning this month, public television stations will air a musical special called "Peter, Bethany & Rufus: Spirit of Woodstock," featuring a concert of 17 songs, performed before a live audience at the iconic Bearsville Theatre, built in the 1960s by Peter, Paul & Mary's maverick manager, Albert Grossman. "Spirit of Woodstock" offers an intimate glimpse into Peter's relationship to Woodstock and the famous musical tradition that evolved there, partly due to Peter's presence.
