When Giten submitted this article to us, he wrote, "The current events in Burma are tragic, but maybe they also give nourishment for The Silent Revolution of the Heart." We couldn't agree more.
The Silent Revolution of the Heart
The Challenge for the 21st century
by Swami Dhyan Giten
From fear to love, from darkness to light and from separation to wholeness
The challenge for the 21st century is the Silent Revolution of the Heart.

In case you don't know, Terrance McKenna was a 60s era visionary genius. With his brother, he wrote the definitive text on psilocybin mushrooms. More important are his works on the I-Ching and on his discovery that the future determines the past just as much as the past determines the future...
From The I-Ching to 2012: Terrance Mckenna's Astonishing Theory & the Singular Event for Mankind
by Craig Howell
Recently passed philosopher, scientist (and some may say, eccentric) Terrance McKenna was a complex man with a complex theory that ended in a simple statement: December of 2012 will be a time that we will never forget.

Forgiveness is a word spoken a lot in self help articles and in books. But how do we get there and who within us in going there? One of the blocks to working on forgiveness is that we have been brought up to believe that to forgive means we must allow the victimizer back into our lives. This is untrue.
Forgiveness - The Possible Dream
by Corinne Edwards
I heard an odd story the other day. I guess it is supposed to be a joke.
"A man invited his mother for tea at the Ritz and made a terrible Freudian slip. He meant to ask her to pass the sugar, but instead said, "You ruined my life!"

According to Elizabeth Tucker, most campus ghosts are like "Casper the Friendly Ghost;" that is, generally friendly, helpful presences, or spirits who convey a cautionary tale of some sort. However, that doesn't mean they're not real ghosts.
Professor Redefines School "Spirit"
Across America, ghost stories help college students learn the rules of life on campus and aid young people in navigating complex relationships. But don’t be spooked: The ghosts of campus legends are generally friendly, helpful presences, or spirits who wish to share a cautionary tale of some sort.

Stunning photography book captures the beauty of spirit life found in natural surroundings.
Magick of Nature Revealed in "Spirits in the Garden"
Gardeners, nature lovers, and health and wellness devotees will delight in the uncommon images revealed in artist Joan Solomon's unique book of nature photography, Spirits in the Garden: The Amazing Realm of Secret Life Around Us. The book contains un-retouched full-color photographs of the subtle, yet obviously present "spirits" that populate gardens and forests. And while the photographs speak volumes by themselves, the text describes the natural healing remedies, wisdom and nutrition that these plants provide.

We are faced with two choices in this life of ours. We either join in what I call the cycle of life or walk our own path. The cycle of life is what nature seems to show to us as the pattern of the universe. Giving and being a part of something greater. We can choose to give of ourselves and be a part of the greater universe or walk alone and miss the synergy which is born in the interconnectedness of the whole of life.
The Cycle Of Life
by Harold J. Duarte-Bernhardt
Two months ago my 13-year old son and I were hiking a beautiful trail in the Muir Woods National Monument near San Francisco, when the subject of “life” came up. “Everything in nature contributes to something,” I said to him. “There is a cycle of life in the eco-system that breathes wholeness, balance and harmony. Nature is about giving and only taking for the sake of life!”

Writer Robina Hearle spins a charming tale of an encounter with a helpful deva, who first came to her in a dream. This deva has continued to help Ms. Hearle and her sister with their healing practices.
The Deva of the Inner Child
by Robina Hearle
I have had the privilege of seeing a Deva; this has enabled me to teach others by way of this story.
I was driving home one day after visiting my sister Sue, musing to myself that it was about time we held a workshop. The subject that seemed so obvious was The Healing of the Inner child, as we constantly talked to our respective clients about the importance of this issue. (We both work as Reiki Masters and Spiritual Healers facilitating others to heal themselves.) I made a mental note of my thoughts to tell her, needless to say I forgot about it.

We've never tried any of the free programs that Mystic Board seems to offer on a weekly basis, so we really can't tell you how well they work. However, just so you know, the site has now released two new free programs.
Pagan Diary, Calendar & Feng Shui Software Offered Onlineby Christine Hall - Editor
Every time we turn around, there's a new offering at Mystic Board. They offer new programs so often, in fact, that we've decided not to give these offerings extensive coverage, as we don't want to appear to be an advertising billboard for the folks at Mystic Board. Still, most of these offerings will probably be of interest to many of our visitors, so we'll still keep you advised of new projects over at Mystic Board as we become aware of them.
