The Case for Positive Energy
by Jon Gordon
author of The Energy Bus
Positive Energy. It's a term being talked about a lot more frequently in classrooms, board rooms and locker rooms. After all, when business legend Jack Welch says that great leaders have loads and loads of positive energy and Pete Carroll, coach of USC football credits positive energy as a key ingredient to winning two national championships, people listen, take notice and start asking questions. What is positive energy? How do I develop it as a leader? How can I infuse my team with it?

Communicating with Plants
by Bob Makransky
excerpted from the book Magical Living
Plants' experience of being in the world is very different from the experience of us animals. Because plants cannot move about, they exist in a state of profound acceptance and peace within themselves. Emotions such as fear, hate, jealousy, possessiveness, etc. are wholly unknown to plants and would serve no useful purpose. On the other hand, plants are capable of experiencing a wide range of higher emotions the like of which we animals could scarcely conceive.

The Ark, the Shroud, and Mary
by Philip Gardiner
Author of The Ark, the Shroud, and Mary |
|
The journey to discover the Ark of the Covenant has been taken by a great many people over time. It is a quest that does not differ from the search for the Holy Grail or the lost city state of Atlantis, and the reason for this is apparent in that nobody has yet discovered any real archaeological artifacts to prove its existence. This is about to change. Please keep in mind that I cannot explain the full extent of the research in the book in this short article, but here is a taster.

Channeling Spirit Guides
by Bob Makransky
How to channel spirit guides by using automatic writing.
Glendower: “I can call spirits from the vasty deep.”
Hotspur: “Why, so can I, or so can any man;
But will they come when you do call for them?”
- Henry IV, Part I
Like that character from Moliere who was delighted to learn that he’d been speaking prose all along and never knew it, each and every one of us is channeling all the time; and the only difference between ”professional” psychics and mediums and the rest of us is that the psychics are aware of what they’re doing – they make a special point of (call special attention to) a completely natural process that everybody already knows how to do. Everyone has spirit guides who talk to them constantly; however, most people don’t listen to these messages, any more than they listen to what other people, such as their parents, spouse, or children, are trying to tell them. When a thought or feeling prompted by a spirit guide pops up in their consciousness, they just pass over it or reject it. In this essay we will discuss thought forms, spirit guides, and other beings which can be channeled, together with a simple technique for consciously channeling them.

by Michael Lamas
Astrology is a symbolic, metaphysical way to interpret reality. Technically, it has more in common with Jungian psychology and its archetypes than with hard sciences like physics. For example, in contrast with astrologers, physicists claim that Pluto can have no affect on a human. They say that the planet is too small and too distant for any known force to influence us. On the other hand, most scientists admit that we live in a multidimensional universe. We can then speculate that a mechanism may lie in another dimension that would allow planetary energies and human consciousness to interact, both individually and collectively. Or perhaps consciousness is that multidimensional mechanism.

The Secret of Solomon's Temple: A Sacred Site or a Metaphor for Enlightenment?
by Philip Gardiner
Author of Gnosis: The Secret of Solomon's Temple Revealed |
|
For centuries, Christians, Freemasons, Jews, Knights Templar and other sects and religions have sought to uncover the truth behind Solomon's Temple, and they continue today to fight for control of what they believe to be the sacred temple site. In fact, scholars and academics have neither confirmed the location nor have they discovered archaeological remains of the temple, while conspiracy theorists accuse the various interested parties of covering up the legacy of Solomon, the King of Israel.

Circles in Practice
by Kay Pranis
Author of The Little Book of Circle Processes |
|
"I’m impressed with the gentleness of the Circle. It arrives at something in such a gentle way." -- Circle participant in an alternative school
How does a Peacemaking Circle work?
Peacemaking Circles use structure to create possibilities for freedom: freedom to speak our truth, freedom to drop masks and protections, freedom to be present as a whole human being, freedom to reveal our deepest longings, freedom to acknowledge mistakes and fears, freedom to act in accord with our core values.

Faith of a Child
by Lesley Gary
|
Child praying with dolls - from an old jigsaw puzzle. |
While I was a member of my parents Church of Christ, I always heard that I was to have the faith of a child. This concept does not apply for just one path or another, but for all. We all must remember those early days of believing and put that kind of faith in our lives.

The Mermaids of Atlantis
by Adrienne Dumas
|
|
On New Years night 2006, I asked to see the Angels. I closed my eyes and I clearly saw my Guardian Angel, a beautiful female angel, standing on a beach. She smiled at me and pointed out into the ocean. She said "Go swimming with the Mermaids. They will clear you of any negativity you might have accumulated over the past year."
