GhoStock Paranormal Convention Returns to Savannah, Georgia

From the city that brought us "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" comes GhoStock6, a convention for paranormal enthusiasts that was founded by Patrick Burns of "Haunting Evidence."

(AlternativeApproaches.com News) GhoStock 6, a paranormal enthusiasts' convention, will be held May 8 through 11, 2008 at Savannah Georgia's Hilton Desoto Hotel.

Billed as a "spirited weekend of spirits", the convention was conceived over two years ago by Patrick Burns, co star of TruTV's hit investigative series Haunting Evidence, and founder/director of the Ghost Hounds Paranormal Investigators Network.

Held twice a year, GhoStock lays claim as Savannahs original paranormal convention, and this May will mark its sixth iteration since July of 2005.

For Patrick Burns, the convention is a labor of love. "People have suggested that I only do Ghostock once a year," says Patrick, "but I don't like to wait that long."

As in the past, the event will host a number of panel discussions led by notables in the paranormal field, ranging from investigation techniques used in allegedly haunted locations, to discussions about psychic abilities.

In the past, the event has brought together paranormal enthusiasts from as far away as Indiana and Wisconsin, eager to converge on Savannah and celebrate its famous haunted history.

The highlight of GhoStock is the chance to participate in actual paranormal investigations of allegedly haunted landmarks around Savannah. The first 100 registered attendees will be assigned to small teams who will conduct exclusive, private investigations at various locations throughout the city. Teams will review their evidence over the course of the weekend and present their findings during the conference.

Since 2005, GhoStock has provided free streaming video of many of the conference events for those who are unable to attend in person, and will continue that tradition for GhoStock 6
